We realize there are many questions associated with being a Vocal Credit Union member in addition to questions non-members may have about Credit Unions and our services. If you don’t see an answer to your question(s) below, feel free to contact us and return to this page often as we will be adding more answers to your questions soon.

What is MessagePay?

MessagePay is a text, web, and phone payment platform, utilized by Vocal Credit Union for our members to conveniently make their loan payments.

What is a credit union and who can join?

Vocal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative.  Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, Jefferson or Meagher County can join Vocal.

What information do I need to open A PERSONAL account?

Individual: Photo ID, Social Security card or another form of government issued ID. Child: Birth certificate, Social Security card or another form of government issued ID.

How do I view my statement on-line?

First, you have to sign up for our Home Banking.  Once you are on there, you can Hit the 3 Bars under the Vocal logo to open your menu, then select  “Statements + Documents”.  You can then select the statement that you wish to view and/or print.

Is my money insured?

Yes!  Every member is insured for $250,000 through the National Share Insurance Fund.

How do I send a wire to my Vocal Credit Union account?

It is easy!  Click here for the wire instructions. 

Do I need to notify Vocal if I am traveling?

Yes.  We work hard to prevent fraud on our members accounts.  Please let us know when and where you will be traveling so that we can ensure your debit and/or credit card will for you.

How do I sign up for Home Banking?

You are part way there!  Call us at 442-1421 and we can turn on access for you.  Then, go to our home page and enter in your login and password.

What do I do if there is an unauthorized charge on my debit or credit card?

Contact Vocal as soon as possible. If it’s after hours, please call the appropriate Mastercard or VISA number under our contact us page.

Does Vocal have an on-site coin machine?

Yes, it’s free for members.

Does Vocal offer a notary service?

Yes, it’s free for members.

Can I stop a transaction that is pending on my account?

Unfortunately the answer is no.  Once a transaction is pending on your account it can’t be stopped.  If the transaction is unauthorized please contact the credit union to dispute the charge.

How do I get the Vocal Credit Union Mobile App?

Go to the Apple or Android app store and search for “vocal credit union”.  Once you have downloaded the app give us a call at 442-1421 and we will turn on access for you. 

Does Vocal accept Canadian currency?

No.
