Savings Account
IRA Accounts
Traditional, ROTH, and Educational IRAs are offered. Deposits made between January 1 and April 15 (tax deadline) may be applied to the current year or the previous year. If the deposit should be applied to the previous year, a contribution direction form must be completed. Dividends are paid on an average daily balance on the last day of each quarter.
Christmas Club Account
Deposits are accepted throughout the year. During the first week of November, the credit union sends you a check for the funds from the account, just in time for the Holidays. A withdrawal from the account requires that the account be closed until funds have been disbursed for that year. Dividends are paid monthly on an average daily balance.
Sammy the Saver
Share accounts for members up to age 12. Each $5.00 deposit earns 1 Sammy dollar to be used to purchase items from the Sammy Store.
Money Market Accounts
Initial deposits must be $100.00 or more. Limited to six (6) withdrawals per month. Subsequent deposits must be $100.00 or more. Dividends are paid monthly on an average daily balance.
Certificate Accounts
Offered for varying terms with a minimum balance of $500.00. Early withdrawal penalties do apply. (see disclosure) Dividends are paid on an average daily balance on the last day of each quarter.
Summer Club Account
Deposits are accepted all year. In mid-August the credit union sends you a check for the funds in the account. A withdrawal requires the account to be closed until after that year’s Summer Club checks have been sent. Dividends are paid monthly on an average daily balance.
