HELENA – On Monday, March 14, 2016, Trico Community Federal Credit Union will transition to a Montana state credit union charter and begin operating under their new identity: Vocal Credit Union. The name Vocal Credit Union embodies one of the financial cooperative’s core governing principles: “Where every member has a voice.” Vocal will continue to serve all community members who live, work, worship, or attend school in Lewis & Clark, Jefferson, or Broadwater Counties.
“Vocal is, and always will be, guided by the community we serve. We want to ensure our name reflects our focus on personal service and inclusiveness.” said Vocal’s CEO, Eddie Black. “As a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our depositors, we remain committed to the credit union ideal of people helping people.”
As Vocal moves forward with these changes and new opportunities, members can be absolutely confident that the same friendly, knowledgeable staff will be serving their financial needs. Vocal will continue to focus on providing our member/owners with the valuable, custom-tailored solutions for their personal banking and financing needs including loans to fit every budget. All deposits will be insured the way they are currently protected: up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
While maintaining the highest service standards, Vocal is proud to be rolling out and offering members several new upgraded technologies designed to provide the most convenient and secure access to accounts. Vocal’s new mobile application for smartphones, streamlined home banking platform, and CardNav technology were all carefully selected for their user-friendliness, increased security, and 24/7 availability. “We’re always be looking for ways to make meeting our members’ financial needs as easy as possible. We want our members to access the services they want when it best fits their schedule.” said Black.
The Vocal team invites you to stop by their branch at 2910 Prospect Avenue in Helena to see the changes made to the interior and to learn more about the credit union’s customized approach to financial services.
