The bottom line: your money is safe with Vocal. We remain a strong and reliable financial institution that is well prepared to weather any market turbulence. We don’t take unnecessary risks with your deposits, and we make every decision with your well-being in mind.

 

Vocal does not engage in risky investments with member deposits

As a community -based credit union, Vocal  invests in local businesses and into our communities. We do not invest in speculative or emerging markets. 

Members’ deposits are safe with Vocal Credit Union

Our members’ deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000 per individual depositor. For more information on federally insured deposits, please visit https://mycreditunion.gov/share-insurance. 

Vocal has adequate liquid reserves to cover member deposits

We maintain enough cash on hand to cover members’ needs. 

Vocal has a strong risk management program in place

This includes regular stress testing, contingency planning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
